Diesel Power magazine’s first day on Route 66 began on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. We’re towing a 1968 Plymouth GTX (440 ci, four-speed, Dana 60 car) with a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 powered by a 5.9L Cummins engine.
