The Diesel Power Magazine staff, and Cappa, are taking a road trip in search of government secrets in a very alien looking 2007 Dodge Sprinter CRD... follow along as with our Sprinter andventure!

Day 1: Diesel Power Editor David Kennedy, Feature Editor Jason Sands, Online Editor Jason Gonderman, Jp Editor John Cappa, and Diesel Power Friend H.R. loaded into a new 2007 Dodge Sprinter CRD at our world headquarters in beutiful downtown LA. and set off on an adventure to visit some of the countries most top secret facilities. We will see how well that goes.

So far on our first day of travel we have visited three facilities where top secret missle and air craft were designed, built, and tested, we have visited one Super Walmart,  flew two  remote controlled helicopters in the Sprinter van, ate four Double Doubles (and one hamburger... Cappa), visited one movie set (the church from Kill Bill), and stumbled on one TV site (CSI).

To date the CRD Sprinter has had the low fuel light come on in the middle of the desert, we determined it is about 13 feet tall (with a 4ft CB antenna on the roof), found out the floor is mostly waterproof, and it is easier to park than most would imagine.
