More than anything else, we get letters about readers who want to see "real" trucks in the magazine, not big huge chromed out $200,000 rigs.  Lately as the price of fuel has been rising, a lot of people have also been interested in engine swaps.

Guess what?  Up at J&H Performance up in Redding, we saw a vehicle that addresses both of these things, and it's owned by Harvey, the "H" of J&H Performance.  We were also there to see Harv's radical ramcharger blast off a 11.1 at 128mph in the quarter mile, on only its second pass ever.  Harvey also reported that the swap wasn't that hard, and that he still gets over 20mpg due to the light weight of the 'Charger (4300 lbs).  The best part is, start to finish with paint, the engine swap, and all the chassiswork, Harvey has maybe $15,000 in the whole thing, and trust us, it looks just as good in person.  Look for a full feature on this awesome ride soon in the pages of Diesel Power.
