The Ford’s factory steel frame was stretched 4-inches, which provided a 110-inch wheelbase.

Underneath, and in knowing that the power displaced from the 5.7L wouldn’t be overwhelming, Magoo chose a Jaguar rear axle with a final drive ratio of 3.08 for a comfortable ride. A Super Bell axle with a 4-inch drop was utilized up front and both front and rear suspension consisted of coil-over setups. Four-way disc brakes powered by a vacuum over hydraulic booster accompanied by steel-braided lines help bring the classic to a halt.

The hood, which consisted of a three-piece aluminum fabrication, was stretched 4-inches to compensate for the stretched frame. Beyond this point, a Wescott fiberglass body makes up the rest of the car. A standard ’32 Ford stainless fuel tank sits at the rear of the car and holds 16 gallons of Number 2.
