We were lucky enough to get a few spy photos of this rail, which should be producing over 1300 horsepower and on its way into the 7s with ease. The whole vehicle will only weigh between about 2000-2400 lbs, so it's power to weight ratio is the same as if your 7000 pound diesel truck had 3500 horsepower. It will be backed by a Lenco transmission, which by the way can shift gears without a clutch. The dragster should be able to go from 0-60mph in about 1.5 seconds, so it's not surprising that people are starting to build rockets like this. Must be quite a ride!
