Yup not only is it one of the slowest cars that America ever built (0-60mph in 21 seconds) it also has some of the best fuel economy ratings: 41mpg in the city, and 55mpg on the highway. Will it really do that well? Well, we'll find out because we just bought one. That's right, our new 50+mpg secret weapon is a 1982 Chevette. If you're laughing now, just wait until you see the article. A whopping 51 horsepower. Anyhow, on our 8 mile drive to work, we'll feel a little better now knowing that our little 'vette gets better mpg than anything on the road, even the fuel economy hoil grail, the Prius. More to come.
