So far we have a turbo-back 4-inch exhaust from MBRP on the way and two TransGo shift kits to choose from. One is the E4OD HD (installed with transmission intact) and the other is TransGo’s Tugger kit (installed by pulling the transmission) for heavy towing applications. While our project first-generation Power Stroke rarely tows, if ever, which one should we go with?
We are still waiting to order our injectors because we want to know who you think we should get them from? Who’s the best bang for the buck? And, who should we order our chip from? If you remember correctly, we are on a $3.000 budget. However, while we are sure we will make at least two to three times the amount of power our gas competitor will, we think we can do it by only spending $2,000-$2,500. And to tell you the truth, our gasser is already pushing, if not over it’s $3,000 budget.
