Gary Brown of Byron, Georgia is who you need to contact if you want a diesel tractor engine in your truck or car.

Gary Brown is a self-employed businessman and farmer who has come up with a solution to high fuel prices. His company called Shade Tree Conversions gives the information needed to make your vehicle get 50 mpg. The parts needed are plentiful since old tractors aren't in such demand as they used to be.

According to Brown combine engines fit nicely too.

1. I looked at his website and i like it. 50 mpg on just motor is much more appealing than CNG or LP injection. Byron is on the other side of the state from me, but his website says hes gonna be in perry next month at the national fair, and since im gonna be there for the cow show, im gonna look him up. Ill post something when i do, let yall know how his stuff loks in real life.

4. 50 mpg? Your own web site said that a full size truck got 20 mpg and that European equivalent vehicles get 60% better economy. Lets see......60% of 20 mpg is 12 mpg. Add 20 mpg plus 12 mpg you get 32 mpg, nor 50 mpg! So your own website proves that what you are really doing is taking people for 50 bucks!

And yes I did a diesel conversion. 3.9 Cummins in a Jeep Wrangler, and yes your 60% increase is correct. I started out with a vehicle that got 17 mpg at best. Now it gets around 27 mpg. Lets do the math....60% of 17 is 10.2 add that to the original 17 and you get 27.2. Funny that is exactly what my vehicle gets 27 mpg.

To take a vehicle that gets 20 mpg and end up with 50 mpg would require a 150% increase in fuel economy. Not going to happen!
