Our ’97 Power Stroke gets to go to Inglewood Transmission’s shop for a Trans Go shift kit install. In the process, the owner, Mike Loverich, can evaluate our torque converter and our E4OD’s overall condition. We hope for the best, as our F-350 has led an easy life thus far with very few heavy tows or drag races, and no sled pulls under it’s belt (so far).
As part of our upcoming budget build, we will have to hope that the Trans Go will help pro-long our tranny’s life, especially with the injectors, chip and exhaust we plan to throw on as well. Stay tuned for that in the December issue where we will reveal exactly what products we chose and why…
P.S. - We're opting for the Trans Go Tugger kit for the sake of towing home our competitor (Bronco) after it blows up trying to make half the power the Power Stroke will.
