Drags Canceled, Dyno Opened

Making the Best of a Bad Situation

Well, I spoke too soon on Friday. The drag races on Saturday night were canceled, but Dr. Performance saw light at the end of the tunnel, and held a dyno night instead…

With nearly 50 trucks showing up in Kennedale, Texas, for some end-of-the-year, eighth-mile racing, the guys at Dr. Performance invited everyone back to their place, opened up shop, and started strapping trucks to the dyno. Nearly 30 trucks made the 40-mile trek over to their shop.

Burning the midnight oil, or oil burners running on the dyno until 1:30 a.m. was what the event ultimately turned into. How’s that for “Gettin’ 'r done?”
