As if it weren’t big enough with the wheels and tires, notice the extended bed. The only thing it was lacking was air brakes. The International CXTs have them, so why not the 4500 series Kodiaks? (apparently, you don’t even get air brakes as an option on these until you’re looking at the 7500s)

Honestly, nothing would be cooler than rolling up next to a bunch of “normal sized” trucks and pulling the little yellow diamond out before shutting the engine down. Anyone else agree?

2. I'm a mechanic for semi-trucks and trailers. I think air disk would be a good option for 3/4 ton and higher trucks. It's considerably easier (to me) to work on and diagnose than the current braking system on these vehicles. Each system has its own up sides and down sides. For the air disk system I've worked on, the parts were actually fairly comparable in price to the hydraulic systems on the class 4-6 box trucks, with the main exceptions being abs parts and the air compressor. I think the brake pads were around $40 and the rotor was $25 (it's been a couple of years).
