Apparently, this tower was built to test the physical power of the excavator. I’ll say! I hope the operator had a parachute. There’s no way you’d get me up there. And I’ll bet getting back down was pretty tricky too.
This makes me wonder if any heavy equipment operators out there have any crazy photos like this, or better! If you do, send them to us, and we may be able to compile/create a heavy equipment section in an issue of the magazine!
Just imagine a photo from inside the cab of this excavator. That would be cool…
