Why would anyone want to put hydrogen into their engine?
1. Possible fuel economy improvements.
2. Less emissions. Let's say you own a truck and you rely on it for your business. New emissions laws are not going to allow as much emissions as they do today. So what are the options?
a. DPF's are expensive and they need to burn extra fuel to keep them clean.
b. Urea is an extra expense.
c. Buy a new truck.
