We may have just landed one of the slickest deals around on a P-pumped 12-valve. So, we made a 100-mile journey to pick it up this morning, and just returned to the office.
It’s an exciting day at Diesel Power. Everyone’s ideas on what to do with the engine keep pouring in too. Everything from Thompson pondering running the engine off its own waste heat to Sands’ desire to tear it down and build it back up to the tune of 1,000 horsepower. Me and Kennedy think it would be cool to simply tear it down first, and see exactly what’s inside.
One thing’s for certain, Diesel Power added possibly the most prestigious diesel engine ever created to its fleet today. We’ll definitely keep you posted on what plans lay ahead for this legendary Cummins mill.
