Fire Trucks

Why Are They So Cool?

Don’t ask me why, but I’ve been seeing a lot of fire trucks lately…

Lately I’ve also been wondering why we all seem to find them so cool? Ever since I was a kid I wanted to drive one. Then, after obtaining my CDL to drive big singles, I even tried out for the local fire department. My hope was to one-day fly across town behind the wheel of one.

Maybe we like fire trucks so much because they’re big, loud and powerful—a true diesel fan’s three favorite things. Maybe we like them so much because they’re a little like semis.

Or, maybe we like them so much because whether they’re putting out flames, cruising across town, or just sitting in the firehouse, they're always in supreme clean condition. Kudos to firefighters, I wish I could keep my truck as clean as they do theirs.
