Wastegate for power

A quick fix for the low down dyno number blues

Rust Bucket sure is smokin, but it doesn't make any more power.

After our last dissapointing trip to the dyno, we're going to be trying to find some additional power by wastegating the turbocharger.  How will this help you say?  Well the theory is that if excess drive pressure is removed , we'll gain more power.  After all, if there is too much pressure on the exhaust side, the engine will have a hard time pumping all the exhaust gases out, and it'll lose power.

At least that's the theory.  In a month or two, you'll be able to read the whole story and see whether our wastegate was a sucess or failure.  In theory, we're expecting a good 30+hp increase.  After that, we're quitting the drugs (nitrous oxide) and we're going back to making power just with #2 diesel.
