It was cool we got to try out the latest and greatest machines in welding today. Before we were turned loose on the equipment we received a quick lesson on welding theory. I have a medium amount of experience with a Mig welder but had never tried Tig welding before. The difference is like going from a shotgun to a rifle.
We also got to check out the plasma cutters. They are so light and portable.

We could discuss back flowing the pipes with gas before welding.
