Be on the Lookout! The Diesel Power intelligence division (W.E.) has gotten reports that Ford Motor Company will be testing new 2010/2011 6.7L Power Stroke (Scorpion engine) diesel Super Dutys on the I-80 between Dearborn, Michigan and Uniontown, Pennsylvania today and tomorrow (Thursday April 16th and Friday April 17th).
Readers who live in or near Uniontown, PA should take their digital cameras and video cameras with them and search local hotel parking lots tonight for a sneak peak at Ford’s upcoming 1-ton trucks. Our intel reports indicate that you should be on the lookout for 3-4 Ford trucks traveling in a convoy with 2-3 Chevy or GMC trucks towing enclosed trailers. It’s possible that Ford will also be testing the new 6.2L Boss (gasoline engine) as part of this trip. The convoy will no doubt head back toward Dearborn, MI tomorrow night… so keep an eye out.
