Eye-Catching Paint

Needle In A Haystack

This is the blue I was originally in hot pursuit of before I settled on my boring white crew cab…

Actually, it was more like a shot in the dark, because I wanted a ’94 –’97 Power Stroke in this color, and I was looking for one in the year 2006 that wasn’t rusted out = fat chance.

Finally, I did manage to find a blue one. But, it was a ’96 F-250, with a bench front seat.
It was a five-speed, which I was originally after, but I just didn’t want the TTB front end, the bench front seat, and the truck was also a supercab/longbed, not to mention the ratty interior sealed the “no deal” answer I gave the seller.

Long story short, I still want this color blue, so maybe fitting a paint job article into the magazine is in the near future…… Fat chance, but the goal is still to have it this color blue one day. Anyone know what this color was called by Ford from the factory?
