Westech’s Autodyn 800 SuperFlow loaded up the truck perfectly, and the stock Garrett turbo sang a 32 psi song on three separate pulls.
The results: 303 hp and 642 lb-ft of torque! (see dyno sheet)
What’s Important: beginning at 2,600 rpm our Power Stroke was making 300 hp (on the dot), and didn’t dip under the 300 mark until 3,150 rpm. That’s what I call “table top horsepower!” It’s fun running the truck up and down the highway with this type of power curve.
Peak torque came in at 642 lb-ft at 2,350 rpm.
Are we satisfied? Yes. And while we’re not done yet, the Stage 1 injectors and six-position chip from Beans Diesel Performance, the NADP transmission, Dieselsite’s CPR fuel system and ATS Diesel’s intercooler have all contributed to one strong-running old body style Ford.
