They were having a small truck event, and a few diesels showed. About a dozen diesels, a mixed field of Dodges and Fords, blasted down the track. Two trucks made several low 8-second passes, and several others ran consistent high 8’s or mid 9’s. Nothing lightning-fast, but a few guys were racing for the first time, which is always promising to see in this sport.
A local Dodge, piloted by Steve Bruce, also made an appearance and ran a 7.40, following a squirrelly burnout in the wet box (second photo).
