I took a trip down to the Donohue truck farm, where it was discovered that only the fronts needed some addressing. The front rotors were pulled, turned, and replaced with ceramic brake pads. And because the hubs have to be pulled to remove the rotors, the wheel seals were inspected (and checked out okay) and the wheel bearings were repacked.
With almost 3½ years and 50,000 miles on the front brakes, I’d say I’ve been easy on the truck—so far.
In the future, I plan on doing a water pump/radiator flush and thermostat, replacing the body mounts, ICP sensor, IPR, upgrading alternators, keeping a camshaft positioning sensor in the center console, and maybe even replacing the power steering pump.
