Diesel Power Challenge 2010

Who Do You Think Will Win?…

Before Diesel Power Challenge 2010 arrives, we thought we’d see if anyone wanted to take a preliminary stab at what might win…

WHAT TRUCK WILL TAKE THE CAKE?

*With dominant performances in the trailer tow, and strong appearances in everything else, the Duramax crowd could’ve taken it this year if it weren’t for several unfortunate circumstances. Could 2010 be the year of the GM’s?

*We’re still waiting for the Fords to shine in this event—and it may happen soon now that the aftermarket has taken advantage of the 6.4L’s common-rail injection and twin-turbos. Will a modified 6.4L Power Stroke put in a top-place effort for blue oval fans?

*Will the common-rail Cummins reign superior again, or will a mechanical 5.9L be back in the game?

PS – Should the dyno results be based on horsepower rather than torque? (It’s definitely an aspect that gives Cummins owners an advantage—the last two Diesel Power Challenges have awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place dyno spots to Dodges)
