1/2 Ton Diesel Petition

    On the forums  007roberto just started a petition to get 1/2 ton diesel pickups in the USA. We should all sign this. 

 


• Get a Free Quote • Find a Local Dealer

    If we want more diesel pickups we need to make sure we ask for them.

 The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Here is the link to the petition. It is painless to sign. I made it 49 signatures let's see what we can get it up to.

3. I don't know squat about a Fiat diesel but it would need to be great to beat a V8 Cummins.

4. Fiat invented common-rail injection and then sold it to Bosch. Their new multi-air engines control the exhaust and intake valves with the same precision as the injectors in a common-rail. Cummins is working on Variable Valve accuation VVA scheme of their own but Fiat has theirs on the market in Europe. I think 120mpg is pretty conservative. I forgot to mention their would be a hydraulic hybrid option and a KERS flywheel from Formula 1. :)

6. All that Fiat tech. sounds great! But honestly would you rather have a Cummins or Fiat diesel engine in your truck??
