I picked up this ’98½ 24-valve for a friend of a friend last week and put the first 200 miles on a completely rebuilt Cummins dwelling under the hood. Of course, it was a five-speed (NV4500) and four-wheel drive—my kind of Dodge. But, with one Project 24-valve already in our stable I can’t get too attached to another VP-44 Ram, for now.
Speaking of ’98½ to ’02 Dodge’s, Project 24-valve will be getting a new exhaust manifold from PDI and an intake horn for Christmas this year. What are you getting your truck for Christmas???
