Goodbye salamander heaters, hello propane-powered turbine heaters.
Starting with a turbocharger off a C12 CAT engine (over-the-road turbo, I assume), an air cleaner off an old semi serving as part of the plumbing, 5-inch stack off a pickup for an oil reservoir, and an oil pump, the project turned out alright for someone cursed with idle hands for a day.
The owner of this modern day work of art also brought along a 30 – 40 gallon LP tank for plenty of fuel supply.
The demonstration made my day.
