With the arrival of some of Rust-Oleum’s rust reformer, flat black rust preventative, and gloss black rust preventative, I’m searching for a truck that’s been the unfortunate victim of rust damage…
More importantly, I’m looking for a truck that’s still drivable, and worth salvaging. If I can’t find anything too nasty down here in SoCal, I’ll re-do my frame and axles (see photo). Last year we must’ve pulled 10 pounds worth of rust off of my ’97s frame!
It’ll be a time-consuming process with a lot of prep work involved, but it’s definitely worth the end result.
