  On Thursday and Friday January 7th and 8th Fred Williams' project Army truck was stolen from a parking lot in Sun Valley, California.  It was likely towed away as it is not currently in running condition.

It is a 1986 Chevy one ton truck, diesel engine, manual transmission, on 37-inch BF Goodrich mud terrain KM2 Tires.  California license number 7A69881

1. That sucks!!! Who steals a truck that doesnt even run, much less a Army truck?

2. Poor Fred. I havent been reading Peterson's 4 Wheel And Offroad much since diving head first into the world of diesel trucks.

I wonder... Does he still have "Clampy"? What about the rock buggy he was building? Last I heard, it was "almost" done...

3. Holy sht! That sucks. I was just down there last weekend too, I would have looked around for it. David, didn't you used to have something similar? Diesel Army Blazer or something?
