I recently got a message from Ron Kukler the inventor of the Green Diesel fuel injector.

Here is what he said,

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your article it helped us secure some US$30million dollars worth of orders at the Louisville truck show in Kentucky, and constantly growing. We were very well received at the truck show and a lot of people mentioned your magazine.

So then we have been very busy designing a new injector system specifically for the Detroit Diesel series 60 , Cat series , Cummins, Volvo ,Daf and some others you can see the prototype running on our test bed on the multi media page on our web site www.greendieselcorp.com http://www.greendieselcorp.com.

Your article also stimulated a number of global manufacturers to contact us such as Continental ( Siemens ), MTU etc.

We will publish a SAE paper near the end of this year and once we find a suitable J.V. partner in the USA manufacturing can commence there.

We subscribe to your mag in Australia and have done so for a number of years as it is the best of its type globally.

The way I (JasonT) understand it since this injection system reduces ignition delay (the time it takes for fuel and air to mix) they are able to fire at TDC and therefore get the full power stroke. The increased pressure reduces emissions drastically.

4. Do you know the hp increase percent yet? 20-30% over stock? Ya ive always thought the Cummins ISX and CAT C15 are a little weak, LOL!! More power for them!? Wow.

6. Here's a letter I got from a Diesel Power reader:

Honestly guys I'm trying to look at the bigger picture. I'm not doing this for me as much as I'm doing this because I haven't seen anyone else step up and do it. Plus it makes sense. If I can install the injectors, I feel it will open a lot more eyes then the ones currently aware of this technology.

I feel using them in my application will draw a lot of good attention for clean diesels(without the use of egr, dpf and urea) and hopefully outstanding results. I think if we could work together in getting them here and publish a build article(if you want) with results, it would not only help DPM, Green Diesel Corp and myself but raise awareness toward environmentally friendly products that can be applied to racing, pulling and daily drivers. What wins on sunday sells on monday. I think with the right fuel, injectors and turbos, we all can produce a 10 second daily driver that would rival a TDI Jetta in fuel economy with my 2wd truck. I feel this is the direction I should be taking my racing program, I would feel proud knowing I didn't need twin hpfp's to make the power I'm looking for.

If DPM can help me out I will gladly showcase my truck for DPM whenever I can afford to attend. Oh and I promise to take you guys for a ride lol.
