I've heard the petroluem industry gets $500 billion in subsidies (corporate welfare). $100 Billion in the US and 400 billion the world over. Green energy is smarter than this.

Not to mention we won't have to worry about oil spills.

Green is better for normal people...and fish.

If biodiesel ever spills into our lakes and streams no problem its biodegradable instead of highly toxic like petroleum diesel.  We need Red from "That 70's Show" to call Transocean Ltd. (the Swiss Company who owns the rig operated by BP) and say "Way to go you Dumb Ass!"

According to an article in the Washington Post

"before the Deepwater Horizon accident, the Minerals Management Service had reported 509 fires, resulting in at least two fatalities and 12 serious injuries, on rigs in the Gulf since 2006."

Remember the Obama administration just let these wolves loose on the other side of Florida too.

Here's a question. Why is a Swiss Company drilling our oil and selling it back to us?
