When I die I want my body turned into biodiesel. At the ceremony (with "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum playing in the background) the fuel should then be poured into the tank of the winner of the Diesel Power Challenge (a B20 blend would be OK with me) for his/her/my ride home into the sunset.
"One could turn their body into bio-oils if they requested it in their will (the amount of energy varies from person to person)."
-Jason Thompson=Diesel Power, Sept. 2008
Well I did some calculations and my joke is starting to look like an option.
*155,000 people die everyday
*Average person weighs 150 pounds @ .14 body fat =21 pounds of fat per person
3,255,000 pounds of fat literally going to waste
7 pounds equals 1 gallon (some loss in bio refining not factored in)
465,000 gallons of biodiesel per day
42 gallons = 1 barrel
11,071 barrels of high quality biodiesel fuel per day that we're currently not using
