I received these photos from Air Force Staff Sergeant Ryan Milliken…

Tough-looking crew. SSG Milliken second from left.

He’s an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) technician, trained in the construction, deployment, disarmament, and disposal of bombs and other explosives (IED’s, aircraft explosive hazards, etc).

Above are a couple photos of SSG Milliken in Kandahar and Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He has served in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Does he like his job? You bet. In fact, he’s heading back to Afghanistan this February.

As you might’ve guessed, Ryan is into diesels. In his spare time he works for Sun Coast Converters in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and his personal truck is an ’07½ Dodge 2500 powered by a 6.7L Cummins. It gets 560 hp to the wheels and you’ll read about it in the March issue.

God bless our armed forces.
