The last few months I’ve been compiling the experiences and events that best left their mark on me since joining the Diesel Power team…
Here's a list of several things I plan to inject into my editorials (at some point) in the magazine:
*A scary ride in a 700hp Dodge ½-ton rocket ship
*Boosted, nitrous launches in a 310-tuned ’08 Ford (my first ride in a 310'd 6.4L...real eye-opener)
*Chasing down a thief in a boost-governed truck
*Missing two connecting flights in one day in route to the Redneck Nationals
*Getting a speeding ticket in infamous Orange County
*The time the cops showed up during an impromptu burnout session/photo shoot
*The time I almost missed a chance to shoot the feature on the Mule, and me and Mike McSpadden drove 120 mph down the Imperial County back roads hunting a good spot to take photos before the sun went down. May he rest in peace.
*An awesome, free meal every time I visit a certain shop
*The heartbreak a Diesel Power Challenge competitor faced on the side of the road during the ride-and-drive event
*The floods that crippled Tennessee and Kentucky last spring—pushing the TS Performance drag race back to July
