After all this mystery involving Garmon, you can't just expect me to give up horsepower numbers, can you? But let me say.....the gains were huge!

With 230rwhp on free mods, let me say I am well over 100hp more than that now.....how much? Well Between 300rwhp and 500rwhp ;)

Remember this was with only a few springs and plugs in the injection pump, and some injectors.....

And well, until the article comes out, here's a video ;) Notice the lack of smoke after spooling, even with the extra power!

1. Well tuned/set-up P7100 nuff said. 12-valves dont have to be smoke machines (at lower power levels), all in the pump (AFC) tuning.

Okay Jason, so now I have to know whats been done. Prepare to be peppered with questions.

Springs- What spring(s)? AFC spring swap or stretched stock spring?

What DV's? I dont know what Garmon sells. I think in one of your blog you said something about DV springs, IIRC. Ive never heard of people changing DV springs? Just the DVs themselves.

So what DV did you swap in place of your 160 pumps 131's? 181's out of a 180/215 pump? 191's, 022's, 024's, DDP 042's??? Please not full cuts (*laser* cuts)..nobody needs those for the street.

You did the 2095 "Mack" rack plug. Did you do the other AFC mods for full rack travel? Replacing the cupped washers with 5/16"ID fender washers and grinding 0.100" off the AFC foot(barrel). AFC full forward (and no plate obviously). That should give you 19mm of rack travel, IIRC. Then the 2095 plug should give your 2mm more for 21mm total of rack travel. I forget how much fuel (cc's) the 2095 gets you, but if memory serves me I think its like 100cc or so of fuel.

Im guessing Browns did work on the engine. Did they slide the pump back to do the 2095 plug or did they grind the case??

Injectors- Needs lots of specs!!:)

Hole count, hole size, spray angle, VCO, SAC, micro blind??? Any lift or stroke added to them? What BAR was there pop pressure set to?? Were they tested for flow balance, to make sure they flow within a certain range of each other. Know how many LPM they flow?

Ive heard Garmon likes to massage marine 370's, which there is nothing wrong with as long as they are set-up correctly and timing is set in the proper range for spray angle. Although, Weston has been saying spraying out of the bowl (while not ideal) isnt as bad as people make it out to be.

Turbo mods?? I think you said you were just getting a 14cm housing for the HX35 right? Specs please ;)

MUST know more!! haha.

2. SmokenGun pretty much covered anything I had to say. I also think there may be a boost elbow involved, and possibly governor springs.

3K GSK or 4K Jason? 3K or 4K GSK should be the first mod to any P-pumped 12-valve.

6. I did a GSK with the trans (full fuel to 3,500) so we could make sure the shift points were right. I'll tell you this, the truck made more power than a lot thought, especially considering the stock intake and exhaust with cat.

As for all the details (injector size, timing, etc.) You'll just have to wait on the magazine. ;)

Spraying out of the bowl is (kinda) bad, but not that bad really....also the pop pressure is totally different on these injectors. I can tell you that the truck makes enough boost that I popped a boot doing a triple lane change at 12:30am last night. Good thing I have a lot of timing in it, or else I might have not been able to do 55-60mph with no turbo ;)

What not a fan of the "Waterloo turbo delete", LMFAO!!!

I forgot to ask about timing. Since your in SoCal you dont have to worry about cold starting being a bear with high timing.

Im guessing 17* at a minium and 25* at a maximum. Something like 21* maybe?? Since its a DD (I think right?) im guessing you wouldnt go to crazy with high timing. Dont want to loose to much bottom end.

8. The trucks just start to sound kinda nasty (not in a good way) with high timing. Sounds cool at a sled pull, not so much in a driveway. You're very close on your timing guesses! We also verified that stock was at 12.5 deg.

9. Haha, ya im guessing you dont want to deal with another ill mannered Cummins (with Rust B being at the stage its at) on the street :) Loping like a mofo at stop lights, puffing smoke continuously.
