It seems like if anything will happen, it does, and right before Diesel Power Challenge!  Last we heard, there were quite a few trucks thrashing just to get here.

 Owen Horst grenaded his engine a few weeks ago, and now has a new bullet installed.  Word was he left sometime last night after some last minute tuning.  Shone Patel is also on the "oops" list, his cab had to come off, after a wategate malfunctioned and sent his manifold turbo into orbit.  They're now fixed, and rolling also.  Dmitri Millard, last year's winner, still doesn't have his engine buttoned up (see picture) but if anyone can do it at the last minute and still win, it's him.  

It's unreal what these guys go through to get here, and as far as we're concerned, they're heros just for making it, and competing at this level.
