A lot of companies are delving into the 6.7L Power Stroke lately, and many are pouring R&D hours into a different turbo...

In stock form, the twin-compressor, single-sequential turbo is impressive (a cab & chassis model turbo is shown—which only has one compressor wheel). However, with just a hot aftermarket tune they seem to run out of air, and although we don't have a lot of data, we're pretty sure the unit is way out of its map at 35+ psi of boost.

River City Diesel has several plans on the table for a replacement turbo: even making a large variable geometry unit off a 6.0L Power Stroke work. One of the trickiest things will be making the exhaust plumbing work with the 6.7L's reverse flow heads. Hopefully things get interesting in the next few months.
