I while back I was "passing" a new BMW 335i when I noticed I forgot to shift into overdrive and my speedo was pegged.  Oops.  I noticed a funny smell right at the moment, but could never figure out what it was.

Today I noticed a big trail of water in my driveway......at first I thought blown head gasket, but the more I keep looking at it, I'm thinking rear freeze plug, which still isn't a walk in the park, as the transmission may have to be pulled. The double bad part is that it's leaking out so bad now, I can barely drive it.  I think the blown plug came from me overrevving my engine (3500+rpm and 60psi of boost) while dealing with the Beemer. Dang it!  Wish I would have installed a block-off plate before the 47rh swap.
