Some New Bling For The Old Truck

18-inch (length) Exhaust Tip

 I've long contemplated whether or not to run an exhaust tip on the ’97, but I think I like this one...


 It's a 5-inch diameter, angle-rolled end, T304 stainless version from MBRP and is 18-inches in length (vs. the typical 12-inch length). I think the 18-inch length is key, as it slides further up, and hides most of the 4-inch system it's bolted to. The 12-inch length tips just always seemed too stubby for me.

After years of having MBRP's 3-inch downpipe and 4-inch aluminized exhaust system on the truck and seeing how well it's held up to the elements, I can now say I fully endorse its systems. They are tough, perform, install easily, and are worth every penny.
