429rwhp and 842 lb-ft with just basic injectors, pump tuning, timing, and a turbo housing. Stock intake and exhaust even. Pretty darn good for a 160hp pump 12 valve I'd say!! To learn more, pick up this month's DP mag ;)

3. I bet if he just straight piped it and put a BHAF on he'd pass you up mike ;) That is doing pretty darn good, most RWHP I've ever heard with an HX35 was 479

5. I've been searching for a 4x4 Duramax to add to the editor battles. I was thinking the IFS will be easier to add a hydraulic motor to. Also looking for a turbo 7.3L IDI to build up to 500 hp. Yes I've been talking with Bill Heath again.

6. I could probably squeeze a few more ponies out of it....the truck still burns pretty clean with Garmon's injectors, and the pump doesn't have its barrels or plungers turned....timing could be bumped up....BUT, it runs good enough for me just how it is, and I would consider it a "safe" tune-up.
