Yesterday, we installed a set of AMP Research PowerSteps on Project 6.7L Power Stroke...
The simple install took us about 3 hours.
*Routing all the wiring was actually very straightforward and a lot less of a headache than we assumed it was going to be.
*We would say the most time consuming part was locating the four power wires for the doors under the sill plate.
*The only drilling required (on the pinch weld) was for the mounting of the LED lamps included with its steps.
*The PowerSteps are nowhere near as gawdy as the factory, stationary steps were.
*The stainless steel trim piece is a nice touch to its latest steps.
*And they helped us pick up some ground clearance under the cab.
*Last but not least, the truck looks as if it sits much taller now.
