I'd like to see how an engine would run on ammonia. It'd be nice to produce your own ammonia fuel from the sun...at home.

Nitrogen from the air. Fritz Haber: Greatest and most influential inventor? Even more important than Mr. Diesel? It's interesting that Diesel's first heat engine designs used ammonia vapor in a closed cycle kind of like a refrigerator. It did not burn the ammonia instead it used it as a  working fluid heated by an external furnace. He abandoned this design. Then went on to using gasoline in his first diesel engine. It exploded and almost killed him. Then he tried heavy oil I think petroleum. Finally some other company marketed peanut oil. I think Diesel supported it but at the time who could have imagined oil would be expensive.

Ending this blog with a IDI note:

Barnett High Performance ports 6.9 and 7.3L cylinder heads. I wonder how much power it'll make with my build if I decide to go this route?
