It's from a 2000 model year 7.3L Super Duty that's now a 1,300 hp, Cummins-powered monster in the local 3.0 pulling class. They cost $1,500 or more brand new and you could easily pay half that for a used one, so I consider it a heck of a find!
Making it fit in the ’97 will be a bit tricky however. If it fits at all, it will require some serious re-working of the radiator support. We'll find out in the coming months, as we begin tearing into the truck and going after 500-rwhp.
