There are a lot of snake oils out there, but we've seen this stuff work, firsthand, and will soon be showing you some real world results...

 It's called Rev-X, and it's an oil additive that can do wonders for 6.0L Power Strokes suffering from stiction—a high-pressure oil related issue that makes cold starts seem more like "come aparts." (characterized by smoking, bucking, and missing). What we plan to do with our stuttering 6.0L test mule is look at all eight cylinders with the engine cold and count how many times each injector misses. Then, we'll perform an oil change (where we switch from 15W-40 oil to synthetic 5W-40), add 8 ounces of Rev-X upon refill, and then perform another miss count. We'll also track the truck's behavior all the way til it's next oil change.

 While not all ailing 6.0L injectors can be saved by this additive, most cases we've come across end up being a complete success. Oftentimes, it's a much better alternative (and worth a try, at least) than being 'talked' into buying 1 to 8 new injectors.
