The last local pull of the year attracted a strong field of trucks on Saturday night...
Roughly 50 trucks showed up to hook to the sled (40 of which were diesels) at River City Diesel's end of the year event in Peoria, IL. The track is usually very forgiving, and it's rare to see much breakage. However, this time around, we saw the carnage gremlins show their ugly faces on a few passes. Each of the Big Three took home a win, too. The Work Stock Class belonged to an LMM-powered Chevy, 2.6 went to Guy Nelson's American Ride 6.4L-powered Ford, and Chris Muhs' strong-running Dodge inched past some stiff competition for the win in the Open Class.
