The tractor and truck pull action was, once again, second-to-none at the National Farm Machinery Show...
This year, the Super Stock diesel truck class ran much smoother, with no major failures occurring on the track. In fact, the class flowed so smooth that all 12 trucks were done pulling in just 58 minutes' time. This is key, as the main objective at NFMS is to keep the action on the track flowing consistently—and putting on the best show possible for thousands of fans. With no full pulls for the trucks this year, a floating finish was all that was needed to award Kent Crowder of Scheid Diesel the top spot. (unless three or more trucks full pull, there is no pull off at the end of the class)
Here's a video (courtesy of Haisley Machine) recapping the diesel truck action, and the complete results are listed below.

Equally as entertaining was watching all the 10,200-pound Pro Stock tractors try to qualify for the Saturday night finals. The 9,300-pound Super Farm qualifying rounds were nail-biters, and in a lot of cases, an inch or less separated each competitor from the next. This is a VERY competitive class.
