We’re thinking of calling it “Street-Max” due to the goal being a 600 hp daily-driven, street truck. Last week, the Allison was pulled and beefed up with one of Sun Coast’s GMax 6-pac kits and its 1058 torque converter. Next week, the truck goes to the dyno for some baseline numbers (we’re expecting 290 to 310 hp at the wheels) to conclude Part 1. For Part 2 we’ll be shimming the fuel-rail, installing an AirDog II, EGR block-off plates, and a 200hp EFILive tune with the hopes of hitting 500 at the wheels.
