Our upgraded intake plenums showed up in the mail. Well, if you own a 7.3L Super Duty (’99.5 or newer) they came on your truck from the factory...

Since we'll be adding a Spearco intercooler intended for a Super Duty (and all the larger diameter plumbing that goes along with it) to our ’97 Power Stroke in the coming months, this is just one of many steps toward getting more air into the engine. The Super Duty inlets are almost exactly 3-inches in diameter (O.D.). The plenums found on ’94 to ’97 engines were much smaller (roughly 2.25 inches, O.D.).

The part number on these late ’99 intake plenums is: F81Z-9E434-DA

 Now back to parts hunting...
