 — I learned a little bit about the Southwest Wisconsin Pullers organization over the weekend...

When Guy Nelson invited us to take a look at the American Ride Ford's new S400 (outfitted with a 66mm BatMoWheel), we expected to see a clipped wheel charger. We didn't find one. Differentiating themselves from the national rules, this sanctioning body has made it mandatory to run a true 2.6-inch turbo in its 2.6 Class. Bushings, slugs, and cheater rings are also prohibited, and their turbocharger rules are "wordier" than most, to try and eliminate as many gray areas as possible.

It's rulebooks like this that keep things in diesel motorsports interesting. We hope to venture north a few times next year and check in on some of the northern trucks and events.
