People have been talking about doing twin injection pumps for years, but very few have actually taken the time and work to make it happen.  Normally they're also on something odd or European, so when we got a look at this twin p-pump Cummins-powered truck (the most versatile platform in the industry) we had to know more!

Built by Richard's Performance Solutions (RPS) out of Canada, the unique ride has an insane combination of compound turbos, multiple wastegates, nitrous, and of course twin Bosch P7100 pumps.  The name of the truck is The Junkyard Dog, an indication of the price point one can achieve by using stock parts and some ingenuity.

The even cooler part is that the setup actually works, putting down about 1,200 to 1,400 horsepower at the rear wheels.  The timing is also different on both pumps, so early fuel helps on power, while late fuel helps with spooling.  While there's a lot of stuff zip-tied to other stuff on the truck, we can't argue with success, and commend Richard on his efforts!

Here's a link to his video page, if anyone wishes to follow the truck's progress...

If you want to see more of this monster in the magazine, let us know at jason.sands@sorc.com and we might have to make a trip up North!   Well, after winter time anyhow...
