This International Travelall is awesome. This is all I want for Christmas. Don't you wish International still sold consumer SUV's?

Year/Make/Model: 1970 International Travelall

Owner: Erik Moe

Hometown: Casa Grande, AZ

Engine: 5.9 L Cummins Turbo Diesel

Transmission: 518 with Overdrive

Air Intake: AEM Brute Force

Exhaust: 4 inch Bully Dog

Ring & Pinion: 3.55

Odometer: 244,136

Other: I purchased this Travelall and then began shopping for a Dodge Cummins to do the swap and found a good running 1993 truck. Once I had them both, I stripped the Dodge to the frame and had a friend at Rodriquez Welding shorten the frame thirty inches. We made body mounts and set the Travelall body on the Dodge frame. Everything is no longer International except for the body and I even put the dashboard, gauges, and front seat in the Travelall after a little trimming. I 40 gallon fuel tank was also build and I have a 17 gallon tank in each back fender. I still was able to put the transmission cooler, ac, and intercooler in front of the radiator that all came from the Dodge. When I bought the Travelall, it had a 472ci Cadillac Engine in it and after I finished this conversion, my pocket book no longer hurt from buying so much gas. Only thing I wish I had was maybe a lower gear ratio in the axles and money to paint it. This is used to tow my travel trailer and Willys hunting and also use this in the woods to get around. Not to mention it is my daily driver.

If you recall, I also sent my 48 Willys that has the Mercedes 220D in it and I wanted to thank you too. The new issue talks about doing a Suburban and thought you guys might like to see my converted Cummins SUV.

I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to send you a new picture from this year of the Travelall. This was up elk hunting a few weeks ago. I didn't know if you could use the last one I sent because it was taken from my cell phone. The only diffrence from the last one was now I have 7.50x16 Deestone Extreme Traction Tires and a Warn Winch. Happy Holidays!!

Send your Readers' Diesel to me. Use this one as a template. Attach a high res image.
